In brownies camp we exercise to earn your marks badges . We earned it by doing yoga we felt stretchy and it was fun. Sometimes we got confused but still we liked it a lot.
In Brownies we are working on our ON YOUR MARKS badge. We are doing activities like making mascots and mottos to earn the badge. There are 4 mascots and mottos. There are Bella the fox, Sunny the rabbit, Fang the snake and Badger the badger. The mottos are:
· Foxes: Foxes are friendly, fearless and full of life · Badgers: Badgers are brave, beautiful and bright and can be kind to everyone · Squirrels: Squirrels are supportive and super · Rabbits: Brownies are the best when they work as a team! In the ancient Greece, the Greece people in the Olympics had to wear heavy chain armor. So we tried that too with normal clothes and it was a race between the groups. (Rabbits, squirrels, Badgers and Foxes.)In the end the badgers won and the squirrels lost.
We are working on our on your marks badge and one of the activities is invent your own game. The snakes created a game called Hockball. The game was enjoyable. The foxes created a game called slip slop slide around. It was easy to play, but you have to be careful. The bunnies created the game called skaterope. It was easy to play, but a little scary. The badges played a game called ball shoots we had to play in teams and it was very fun. Brownies have been working on the On Your Marks badge. After we did our activity’s we were tired and made S’mores. We made it by putting little candles and we lit the candle in our tin cans. We roasted marshmallows over the tin can. It tasted really great! We all were VERY tired. We did yoga before we went to bed.
Check out our pictures and see what a TeddyTastic time we had at camp this year! It's been a while since our last post, and I'm sure everyone enjoyed the school holidays. Now it's time to get back in the saddle because we have camp to prepare for! Check us out, colouring our bedheads and placemats. Don't forget next week to bring a Straits Times so we can make our sitters.
